Many individuals have expressed difficulty in choosing just 7 songs for the #my7Princesongs challenge. We believe that this challenge is beautiful because it allows us to reflect on how Prince’s music has impacted our lives. Rather than viewing this as a rigid exercise, we see it as a momentary snapshot of our current emotions.

Our goal is not to create a definitive, permanent list, but to highlight the music on the anniversary with specific selections from each person. By combining these individual efforts, we hope to showcase the brilliance of Prince and his music.

Tomorrow, as members of The New Power Generation, we have the opportunity to redefine April 21st by flooding the internet with songs from the legendary musician and performer, Prince.
