In 1990, after playing and touring with The Revolution for almost a decade, Prince decided to make a change. He hung out at local clubs like Bunkers looking for new players, local cats that could play the new music he was hearing in his head. Those players would go on to form the original New Power Generation. Michael Bland, Sonny Thompson, Tommy Barbarella, Levi Seacer Jr., Rosie Gaines, Tony M, Damon Dickson & Kirk Johnson would become the foundation of Prince’s sound for the new decade.

Now, members of the original New Power Generation come 2Gether once again, along with some very special guests, 2Gether – A Celebration of the Music of Prince!
